LifeLine is a comprehensive mental-health and wellness app. It helps users manage their mental health through structured tools, connect with professionals, receive ongoing support, and follow progress over time. Built-in risk-awareness features assist experts in monitoring patients and supporting timely intervention within a secure care environment.

LifeLine connects with a professional portal used by licensed mental-health experts to track progress, schedule virtual appointments, and communicate securely with patients. The LifeLine Admin Portal enables administrators to manage patient profiles, assign or reassign doctors, and coordinate care. The app also includes an AI-powered companion for emotional support and informational guidance.

4. Appointments & Consultations • Book and manage virtual appointments. • Join secure video calls using the Amazon Chime SDK. • Audio continues if the screen is locked or another app is opened, ensuring uninterrupted care. • End-to-end appointment booking, confirmation, and status updates.

5. Mental Health Questionnaires • Complete PHQ-9 and GAD-7 every 7 days to monitor progress. • Results promote self-awareness and informed expert discussions.

6. AI Chat Assistant (Non-Clinical) • Empathetic, reflective conversation for emotional encouragement. • Supports voice input and AI voice output for accessibility. • Users can report responses directly from chat for moderation. • The AI never provides medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment guidance.

7. Health Metrics Integration • Connect Apple Health to share metrics such as steps, sleep, heart rate, activity, and exercise. • All permissions are optional and fully controlled by the user. • Data syncs automatically and privately; no background access without consent.

8. Vent Zone • Private journaling space for emotional reflection and stress relief.

9. Rewards System • Earn digital points for self-care tasks. (No financial rewards.) • Encourages engagement and consistency in wellness routines.

All modules verified through TestFlight. • Not a research app — no participation, surveys, or data collected for study purposes. • All personal data encrypted in transit and at rest, used solely for app functionality within a secure environment.

Expert Portal (Reference Only) Licensed professionals may access patient-shared data securely at doctor.lifelineapp.ca. This is separate from the mobile app and unavailable to general users.
