User Reviews

The game is lauded for its visuals, customization, and movement, with a welcoming casual MMO vibe. However, players repeatedly report stability and connectivity problems, localization gaps, lack of controller support, and UI control issues. Despite the strong art and customization, these technical and accessibility faults hinder the experience on many devices.
Pros
  • Stunning graphics and art style.
  • Deep character customization and creation options.
  • Fluid movement, parkour and expansive exploration.
  • Friendly casual MMO vibe with a welcoming community.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and long loading times or stuck loading screens.
  • Server connectivity and login issues, including failed connections and account bans.
  • Localization gaps: missing languages and language mismatches (e.g., no Spanish/Chinese; default Asian language).
  • No controller support on mobile devices.
  • UI/controls concerns: awkward button placement and overall control limitations.

Not sure if this is a problem specific to the mobile version but this game isn't easy for a beginner to pick up. I didn't have an option to take a tutorial, which I think is available on PC. I've been feeling my way through the gameplay for a few hours, and just when I think I'm figuring things out, I'll hit a wall. Sometimes that's a literal wall. I've been trying to find a character named Olsonne for quite a while as part of a quest. The navigator isn't working properly. I started in the mines but had no luck, so then I went to Fallen River as it was indicated. The closeness counter goes up and down all along the waterfall's edge, so I even tried jumping down into it. This is as close as I can get, approximately 36 in closeness up against a wall inside of a waterfall. (Edit: After a few hours, I did manage to find him in a hidden pathway. I think there should be more assistance for leisure players.) I'm beginning to think the mobile version may be full of bugs. I jumped to level 60 from level 3 without ever having hit a monster. Of course that also means the enemies I encounter are level 60 making them pretty tough. There's no soft launching into this game as I've experienced it. I've had several instances where the game has glitched tremendously during battles and important dialogue. Other players I've encountered haven't been friendly, so it also has poor community working against it. I wish the gameplay matched the aesthetic. Oh, and as far as I can tell, the bound currency that you accrue from quests is worthless. All of the clothes and accessories I've tried to buy are paywalled.
