Honestly I downloaded it to prove a point in an argument with my sister. She wouldn't stop talking about it and I, someone who has been burned by multiple "revolutionary" health apps, was deeply skeptical. Turns out I was wrong. Nothing dramatic happened. I just connected my insurance, poked around, and realized it actually had stuff I'd forgotten about. Old labs, vaccination history, a medication I stopped taking. And then I used the doctor prep summary before a physical and for the first time in years I didn't walk in completely blanking on my own health history. It's not magic. It's just organized in a way my brain isn't. One thing I genuinely wish they'd figure out is family accounts, or at least some way to manage someone else's health with their permission. My grandma would get real value out of this. She sees multiple doctors and keeping track of everything is a mess, but there's zero chance she sets this up herself. I'd do it for her if I could manage it from my account somehow. Feels like an obvious next step for an app that's clearly thinking about health more seriously than most. Anyway. Don't tell my sister she was right.

I've been using Slothwise to help with my medical “chaos”. I connected my UCSF, Sutter, and Anthem accounts and it was seamless. Then I went through all the medications, allergies, and test results the app pulled in and everything was correct, which was reassuring. When I clicked on a medication, the summary had my doctor's instructions, an actual picture of my pill (how is that even possible??) and an explanation of what the medication does. It felt genuinely futuristic. I noticed that I can also set up medication reminders but I haven't gotten to that yet. UI seemed clean and a lot more intuitive than other health platforms. The other day I had a cardiologist appointment. They always ask about symptoms, how often I walk, and want to review my full medication list even if I literally just saw them yesterday. I decided to try Slothwise's doctor visit prep summary and it was honestly magical. I handed my phone to the nurse with all my active medications and then to the doctor with the summary of my symptoms and everything else. There is also a sharing feature, but this just seemed more appropriate in the moment. For the first time it felt like the visit was actually worth it because we got straight into the details of how I was feeling instead of spending half the appointment on routine questions that were already answered in the summary. It almost felt like I was saving money by not wasting my precious visit time on all that. I don't have a wearable but I noticed Slothwise still pulled information from my Apple Health and Google Calendar and gives me insights like pollen levels where I live, my walking patterns, and stuff like that. I have allergies but only to certain types of pollen and it somehow figured that out from my health history, so it actually tells me whether today is a good or bad day for my specific allergies. Once I wasn’t sure if it was allergies or flu, and it told me about the very high pollen levels for the specific pollen I’m allergic to. Super cool. The whole experience just feels like I’m being taken care of and seamless. Thanks for building it!!

My favorite health tracking app!! I’ve used it for a couple days now and it’s been fantastic at tracking my meals and keeping up with my overall health. I connected my Kaiser account and Slothwise gave me a full rundown of my medications, visits, expired vaccinations, etc. I also really like that they have a number I can text so I’m not constantly having to open their app to log my meals or get health updates.
