Reviews show Taco Villa’s iOS app is easy to use and food is generally liked when orders go through, but persistent reliability and integration problems dominate feedback. Key issues: frequent app errors, orders not reaching stores or being duplicated, cold/stale food, unclear pickup options and timing, and a weak rewards program lacking retroactive credit. Addressing app stability, store integration, timing clarity, and rewards would address the main recurring frustrations.

App reliability issues with frequent errors or non-functionality.
Orders failing to reach the store or being misrecorded/double-charged.
Food arrives cold or stale when delivered.
Confusing pickup options and wait times (misleading/unclear timing).
Rewards program is weak, with little value and lack of retroactive reward handling.

Recent reviews

The app has a good look to it, but the ordering process is very slow. When you go to add a combo meal, you have to add each item individually. While this does get you to verify any customization for each item, it is a bit cumbersome to navigate. The reward system works, unless you want to redeem the combo meal. When I tried it the app did the pre-authorization to my bank, and then told me there was an error with the rewards processing and dumped me back to the cart. I had to visit the store in person to redeeem that reward. I probably will use the app again, but I hope they see this and work on getting that reward to work.
