After finishing Fantasy Hike (while rereading lotr as I went) I wanted something else and was bummed thinking I wouldn’t get the same experience of reading a story as a reward for walking milestones. This app was a great find! While the story is not as good as lotr (obviously) the app itself is a big leap over fantasy hike. The art is lovely, the story is fun, and all the side quests and achievements constantly reward you for getting out and getting your steps. I recommend getting premium to be able to count more than 3000 steps. It is a little pricey but I believe in paying people for good work (and am lucky enough that it’s not a big deal for me).

I came to this app from a blog stating the app was completely free. So after gaining all access to my personal information, the app then asks for you to pay and no way to bypass for the “free” that was offered. Don’t download this app if you are willing to pay $80 a year for access. I was really excited to use the app and it looks great so I will give 3 stars for presentation.
