User Reviews

Users broadly praise Flash Cards Pro for its ease of use, flexibility, strong organization, offline usability, and proven study value. Common requests focus on adding progress tracking (right/wrong feedback) and expanding import/export and organizational capabilities, along with other feature gaps such as ALL CAPS titles, photos, and voice input. Overall, it’s seen as a practical, powerful tool for study that many users rely on.
Pros
  • Easy to use with a clean, intuitive interface.
  • Highly flexible with many features for creating, editing, and organizing flashcards and decks.
  • Strong organization capabilities (cards can be organized into files/decks; easy to build and manage decks).
  • Works offline without requiring internet or sign-in.
  • Effective study aid that helps memory and can save time before tests.
Cons
  • Lacks built-in progress tracking (no right/wrong feature to identify cards you struggle with).
  • Import/export limitations (import is restricted to the app's .deck format; external formats like txt/csv are not supported for import).
  • Requests for easier deck/card reorganization (e.g., moving cards between decks and creating temporary groups) and other feature gaps (e.g., ALL CAPS deck titles, photo editing, voice input) are commonly voiced by users.

Really helps me study and increase my knowledge. Wish it was offered on Microsoft and converted over to share between interfaces.

Hear me out. I love the app in every way. I has all I need to get my hard wired memorization with a clear and easy interface. My only problem with the app is that when you try to import any “flash card” type of file other than the apps .deck file, you can’t. The files can be exported as .deck files and .csv files. My goal was to go from a .txt file to the .csv file using a python program but come to find out the app can’t even import the things it’s exporting. .csv files are not supported for importing. So I try to adjust my program to convert these .txt to .csv then to .deck to figure out I would have to reverse engineer to figure out how the files are constructed. The lengths I go to in order to use my favorite interface. I pray they fix these issues. Nonetheless the interface is amazing for my personal use. Blunt forcing the info into my brain from one side of the deck to the other, starting over every time I mess up. Then I use the shuffle feature after I’ve made it through completely. P.s. this app has saved me multiple times after nights I forgot about the test the next morning. 20-30 minutes studying with this method and I was good. When it comes down to it though. What I’m trying to do is use an Ai flash card maker like Revisely to auto generate these cards into txt to make that process even faster in a crunch or for busy bodies.
