User Reviews

Reviewers praise Feeder for cross-platform use and fast alerts across devices. It’s valued for time-sensitive workflows but faces recurring downsides: price and free-tier limits, reliability issues after updates (regressions, 100-article cap, syncing bugs), and onboarding friction (sign-in/account hurdles). Support quality is mixed, with some reports of slow responses while others cite helpful assistance. Overall Feeder delivers strong notifications across platforms but struggles with cost, stability, and onboarding friction.
Pros
  • Cross-platform availability and syncing across devices and web browsers
  • Fast push notifications and timely updates
  • Support responsiveness in some cases
  • Value for time-sensitive workflows like translation/job alerts (e.g., Gengo integration)
Cons
  • High price and restrictive free tier with limited articles and costly subscriptions
  • Frequent updates causing regressions and major UI changes
  • Sign-in/account friction and lack of easy account deletion or multiple sign-in options
  • Reliability issues such as feed syncing bugs, 100-article cap, and folder deletion bugs
  • Mixed or slow customer support reports (some users see slow replies)

I monitor Tsunami and Hurricane feeds, vital for an island-dweller. For the most part, the app hums along without a glitch. I'm using the free version (MUCH appreciated, thank you!), and it's a great fit for volunteer work. The (mostly) reliable designation is not always the app- agencies do make changes to RSS feeds, and there are other factors that can disrupt service. But when it breaks, it breaks - and it's not necessarily easy to get it going again. Right now, nothing's loading out of the 3 active feeds set to push notification. Getting a 'something's wrong; can't load' error across all devices. Hopefully it'll clear up soon - we have another potential hurcane on the way, and tsunami can happen anytime. Edit: all good now! Mahalo for the response. <3
