User Reviews

Users praise feeeed for its clean, stylish UI and being free with strong customization, notably the Daily Briefing. It’s appreciated for privacy and a distraction-free experience. Common drawbacks are perceived bias and limited source variety, repeated articles, read-status limitations, occasional video playback issues, and filters not syncing across devices. Overall, it’s highly regarded but could improve feed variety and some usability features.
Pros
  • Clean, beautiful UI/UX with a distraction-free reading experience
  • Completely free: no subscriptions, ads, or data collection
  • Highly customizable RSS experience including the Daily Briefing
  • End-of-feed design that helps avoid doomscrolling and keeps reading focused
  • Privacy-friendly (no required account) with easy access to news alerts
Cons
  • Perceived political bias or limited variety of sources
  • Feed often repeats articles; lack of a straightforward option to disable repetition
  • Cannot mark items as read while scrolling; read-management features are limited
  • Video/audio playback issues (YouTube sound problems and playback errors)
  • Muted words/filters do not sync across devices (iCloud)

I rarely review apps, but this one has become one of my favorites to use daily and deserves the praise! Keep up the good work!

UPDATE: 5/18/26: YouTube videos break in subscriptions and subscribing to new content creators doesn't seem to be possible anymore. Shorts mostly work though 🙄 ------------------- 9/29/25: Wow. Colors. I mean why improve functionality with left/right swiping to save/mark/delete when all we needed was a new paint job. Luckily I use NNN as my primary RSS reader and only use this app occasionally 🫩 ------------------- 9/15/25: The tendency for this app to update your feed and the way it does this can be a big PITA. The app will populate your feed both above and below the part of your feed you are looking at. This forces the place you are reading to randomly scroll up or down, leaving you to search for something you were trying to read or select. Sometimes the dislocation can lead to a lot of scrolling ------------------- There's no doubt that this is a nice RSS reader. I won't argue that. That's the problem. It's got a nice trick or two up its sleeve but it's also a PITA. Trying to search for a site gives mixed results-sometimes a web app, sometimes a Reddit link or something else-for the same domain. Depending the seen vs unseen can be difficult as viewed items are only a little bit darker shade of white. Also, there are just so many times I have to look at the regular site because the AI summary includes half of the content or even just the footer of the page. Also its ability to flush old content is a joke-it actually keeps marking read content as unread, and there's no way to mark something as read without actually opening it. Maybe use it with another reader. Maybe NNW.

Great app that doesn’t limit you at all. Can add as many feeds as you like and have them in just as many separate folders. Very comfortable UI as well with many customizations. Only gripe is that the custom colors for each feed can reset which makes it a little confusing sometimes.
