MFP Smoke Mobile is the proprietary field inspection app from MFP Smoke Management — purpose-built for passive fire protection professionals servicing commercial, retail, and residential properties across Australia.

Designed for technicians and assessors working on-site, MFP Smoke Mobile lets you record, manage, and report on fire and smoke door inspections directly from your iPhone or iPad. Inspection results are captured in real time and automatically compiled into the registers required under AS1851, eliminating manual paperwork and ensuring compliance documentation is always accurate and up to date.

KEY FEATURES:

• Fire & Smoke Door Inspections — Record inspection results on the go using a structured, standards-aligned workflow. Capture door condition, hardware status, signage, gaps, seals, and closers with guided checklists.

• Automatic Register Generation — The app builds and populates the required Fire Door Register as inspections are completed, formatted to meet AS1851 prescribed maintenance requirements.

• Fire Damper Maintenance — Document fire damper inspections and test results per AS1851. Results are tabled in the format suggested by the Standard and can be exported to Excel or PDF.

• Fire Damper Register Creation — Use the app to create the required Fire Damper Register for properties where one does not yet exist, ready for subsequent maintenance cycles.

• Penetration & Control Joint Recording — Record each fire and smoke wall penetration individually. When a system or group of penetrations exists, the number and type are listed for easy year-on-year comparison during passive inspections.

• Fire Stopping Register — When MFP Smoke installs or remediates penetrations, each is recorded into the required AS1530.4.2014 Fire Stopping Register, complementing the site ESM folder.

• Photo Documentation — Attach before-and-after images to each inspection entry for clear evidence of findings and rectification work.

• Non-Conformance Alerts — Any non-conformance identified during inspection is automatically flagged and emailed to the MFP Smoke office for immediate follow-up.

• Export & Reporting — Export inspection results and registers as professional PDF or Excel reports. Reports clearly show all images, inspection results, and any commentary made by the auditor.

• Offline Capability — Conduct inspections in areas with limited connectivity. Data syncs when a connection is restored.

MFP Smoke Mobile is used exclusively by MFP Smoke Management personnel and authorised users to deliver inspection, testing, and reporting services for passive fire protection systems. The app supports the full lifecycle from scheduled servicing through to repairs and replacements — whether initiated by MFP's own maintenance program or in response to a report compiled by an external assessor.
