Horizon App

Horizon is an engagement and development network that supports the Royal Australian Navy's sailors and officers in achieving joint development, wellbeing and professional mastery. The overarching purpose of Horizon is to enhance the Intellectual Edge of our Navy, and as such Horizon directly supports the Navy's mission to prepare Naval Power in order to enable the joint force in peace and war. The most visible part of this network is an online portal, designed to engage all members of the Navy and generate the desire to further their own development, wellbeing and professional mastery. Horizon is a mobile app and an external website created and managed by Navy's Horizon team, to effectively manage the development, wellbeing, careers and basic administration for Navy personnel. An Australian Defence email address is required for access. Users will engage with curated reputable content covering the latest ideas and innovations relevant to Navy members. The website encourages intellectual resilience through self- paced, self-directed learning that challenges personnel to develop their Navy Mastery through targeted content.
