The LCS App uses the Lionel LCS Wi-Fi adapter to connect your iPad to your LCS-equipped train layout. Build up track sections and control switches, power, and operating tracks with the touch of a finger. Connect to a Lionel LEGACY base to view and edit your locomotive roster. Note: Connecting requires the LCS Wi-Fi and other LCS hardware control devices. To operate Lionel command-equipped locomotives a Lionel Base-1L is required. Overall, this app works nicely. Lots of support for older Lionel accessories, which is nice. My only gripe is that the sound on/off setting isn’t stored when the app closes. And even with sound turned off, pressing a momentary button or toggle switch for accessories pauses any music you may have in the background. This means I can’t use this app and (reliably) play music at the same time. Fix that and it’d be perfect.
