User Reviews

Users praise the quality of 7Sage LSAT content and mobile accessibility, with real score improvements and solid value. However, the app's reliability and access issues—especially login problems, frequent bugs, and licensing-related restrictions—significantly detract from the experience. Drills and content loading hiccups add to the frustration. The content quality is the core strength; fixing stability and access would bring the app in line with user expectations.
Pros
  • High-quality LSAT course content with clear explanations that many users report helping boost scores.
  • Excellent portability—study on the go on iPad/phone, with the app mirroring the website for convenient access.
  • Strong value for money with extensive content and practical drills.
  • Useful drill features, including the ability to retake questions for practice.
Cons
  • Frequent app instability and bugs (glitches, slow loading, crashes) that disrupt study sessions.
  • Login/authentication issues and account lockouts (password errors, failed attempts, delayed resets).
  • Pricing/licensing concerns and access restrictions that can lead to sudden lockouts or unexpected costs.
  • Drills/content loading problems (e.g., blank answer choices) and unreliable drill experiences.

You might as well just use your browser to use 7Sage. The app is super glitchy and it is clear they made no changes to adapt to an app format.

Keeps failing to log me in on the first attempt when the information is correct. It then locks me out of my account due to “too many failed login attempts” after the first attempt.

[This is only a review of the app itself, not the course. The course is good.] An app verging on actively bad. Why is it so hard to get to any page I want using the sidebar? If I’m using the 7sage app on my phone, I’m (personally) likely using it for either the Course videos / lessons or the Drills section. Why is “Discussions,” a section most users likely use occasionally at most, at the very top? Why is there still an option for Logic Games taking up real estate when it’s gone from the exam now? Why is “Course,” the thing I’m primarily paying for, at the very bottom (and underneath “Course Review” at that)? In my opinion, “Course” and “Problem Sets” (Drills) should be towards the top, perhaps followed by the various PT-related categories, Discussion, with Course Review at the bottom. Additionally, I understand why it’s the easiest option to do so, but it’s an undeniable turn off that the app basically feels like the website shrunk down to an iPhone. It doesn’t feel app-like or intuitive at all. It doesn’t make me want to use the app; it makes me wish I had a computer instead. Tldr; app UI/UX needs a huge touch up. Though I wrote more regarding the sidebar, this might be the more important issue, though the harder one to fix. It’s not a 1 or 0 star because the app functions (doesn’t crash often, isn’t insanely laggy, etc.), but I wish it were an app that I looked forward to using instead of one I dreaded. (Once again, website is fine, service is good—I’m only talking about the app itself.)
