User Reviews

LSAT Demon is highly praised for its breadth of content, strong drilling and progress tracking, portability, and high-quality explanations, plus solid tutor support. However, users frequently report stability issues, iPhone-specific UI flaws, drill-filter bugs, cross-platform UI inconsistencies, and recent changes that limit free explanations. Overall, it’s a powerful study tool with significant benefits for many, but reliability and feature-access concerns exist for some users.
Pros
  • Comprehensive LSAT prep resource with extensive content including drills, sections, videos, podcasts, and practice questions.
  • Effective drilling with progress tracking that helps monitor improvement and performance over time.
  • On-the-go accessibility and convenient iOS app experience for studying anywhere.
  • Clear, visual, and engaging explanations that many users find helpful (often described as insightful and entertaining).
  • Strong support network and tutoring resources from the co-creators and LSAT tutors, with regularly scheduled lessons accessible long-term.
Cons
  • Technical glitches: the app frequently reloads or has stability issues, disrupting practice.
  • iPhone-specific issues: CTRL+F search does not work, making RC practice less efficient.
  • Drill filtering bugs: selecting specific question types sometimes results in drills that don’t match the chosen type, causing confusion.
  • Inconsistent UI/UX between iOS app and website, with navigation and content layout not aligning across platforms.
  • Recent updates reducing free access to explanations and other content, which some users view as a negative change to value and accessibility.

Love the demon. By far the easiest, most intuitive, and most approachable platform out there. Ben and Nate know what they're talking about; trust the demon way and you'll get where you need to be.

I really liked starting out on this app because of ease of use. I think it would be great to start out with if you really struggle with lsat thinking. If you value precision and accuracy in your explanations or want to fully understand the test, this is not for you-- often the explanations are incomplete or incorrect, which I find alarming. If you're trying to increase a low diagnostic a few points it might be useful to use the "common-sense method," but if you really want to maximize your score I'd suggest the LawHub explanations or 7sage. However, they do offer some analytics (7sage is still better with this, though) and the interface is fairly easy to use and intuitive. Recommend for those with no logic or phil background.

Love the service and flexibility of having a mobile app. However, would love to have the option to study “offline”. I really want to use it while commuting, but the spotty internet is not compatible with the current version.
