I downloaded this app because apparently my BED now requires Bluetooth pairing, firmware updates, and software troubleshooting. Humanity looked at adjustable furniture and thought, “You know what this needs? Connectivity issues.” This app is catastrophically bad. Pairing is inconsistent. Firmware updates fail. Bluetooth randomly disconnects. The app occasionally behaves as though the bed no longer exists despite the fact that I am physically laying in it while trying to use the app. Incredible achievement in modern engineering. At one point the firmware update failed and the app basically entered hospice care. The recommended fixes from other users involve toggling Bluetooth permissions on and off repeatedly like you’re trying to restart a nuclear submarine with a paperclip. Even better, there appear to be multiple nearly identical versions of this app floating around the App Store, so users get the added bonus of playing “Which Fake Bed App Controls My Furniture?” The whole experience feels less like using premium adjustable furniture and more like beta testing an abandoned startup project funded entirely by energy drinks and false confidence. Wish I could give this app -5 stars. Unfortunately Apple insists on preserving the self-esteem of app developers.

For the amount of money you spent on this bed set up he would expect it to actually work. Once finding the correct app to use for my bed, it worked for a few minutes, then upon trying to update the firmware you get an error message every time and the app will no longer connect to the bed or function. From all the other reviews over the past year, this is not new and it’s unbelievable that they are not updating this app or fixing this issue. some people said not to do the update, but I don’t remember even seeing an option to not do it.

The app is extremely basic. Although it did work momentarily, it only connected to my husband’s side of the bed and I could not get it to switch and connect with mine. Someone really needs to update this app.
