The Child Support Mobile app is largely unusable for most users. Recurrent login and PIN failures force re-registration, and troubleshooting pushes users to call agencies. The app offers little status detail and feels outdated, with crashes and unreliable performance persisting across versions.

Frequent login failures and lockouts after first successful login; users must re-register or reset repeatedly.
PIN/password issues: PINs and passwords reported as invalid or incorrect even after setting or resetting.
Need to re-register to log in and lack support for using an existing account; troubleshooting often directs to phone calls (IL DHS/Maximus).
App provides little to no actionable information on case status or modification steps; descriptions are vague.

Recent reviews

Absolutely atrocious app. I have had to reset my pin countless times. It will work once and then never again unless I reregister. For an app that the state recommends using to track modification review status it should be a lot better but we are taking about the state of Illinois. I’m not sure the app could get any worse. Better off calling the modification phone line instead because you will get nowhere with app. It deserves zero stars!!!

Can log in once and that’s it after multiple resets and even deleting the app.

I have to register every time I want to login. Just now I registered, confirmed my pin, closed the app, reopened the app, input my pin, and was immediately locked out for too many failed attempts. Even if I’m able to get into the app, the description of where you’re at in the modification process is vague enough as to be almost useless.
