User Reviews

Reviews are largely negative, citing frequent login issues, crashes, and slow performance. The calendar UI is hard to read and navigation is clunky, with key functions like trades and pending-requests view not well supported. Users report intrusive or unmanageable notifications, forced updates, and a lack of dark mode. Some acknowledge that the core scheduling tasks work when the app isn’t bugged and note occasional developer responsiveness, but overall the app delivers a frustrating experience with repeated reliability and usability problems.
Pros
  • Core scheduling features exist and can be used when the app is functioning (viewing schedules, picking up shifts, and swapping shifts).
  • Some reviewers noted that developers respond to issues and fix problems after updates, indicating potential for quick support.
Cons
  • Frequent login/authentication problems: sessions expire, incorrect logins, and repeated re-authentication required.
  • Severe performance issues: the app freezes/crashes, reloads every time you leave or scroll, and sometimes fails to load schedules.
  • Poor UI/UX and navigation: non-intuitive interface, calendar readability is poor (month view truncates names), and hard to review pending requests or send trades.
  • Feature gaps and workflow inefficiencies: cannot easily trade on the fly, cannot view pending requests on a calendar, limited export options, and excessive/intrusive notifications that are hard to control.
  • Frequent updates and lack of dark mode: forced updates disrupt usage, settings aren’t preserved, and there is no dark mode or system theme support.

Could be improved by adding overall block schedule that I can compare to my co-residents. Lots of filters help me find what I’m looking for quickly on a desktop but is a bit much to navigate on phone.

Update: SSO re-logs into the appropriate app now. Back to perfect. Old: After single sign on integration, the app no longer opens up into. It’s normal interface and instead opens up a screen that looks like the webpage that has poor functionality through the app. Wish there was an option to choose the single sign in versus go back to my regular login.

First schedule using self schedule is a nightmare. Horrible first day. All bug’s fixed or so we thought. Now all schedule for entire float pool has vanished and unable to self again..
