User Reviews

FlashArch Player on iOS offers usable mobile Flash emulation with good quality for supported games and accessibility benefits. However, it suffers from inconsistent game compatibility, input/controls problems, limited customization and external controller options, stability bugs with engine updates, and issues loading multi-file games. Users repeatedly request features like better control mapping, data import/export, and broader game compatibility to improve the experience.
Pros
  • Good emulation quality for games that run
  • Provides a mobile Flash emulator, increasing accessibility to Flash content on iOS
  • Baseline Flash player functionality that works for many titles
  • Some titles run particularly well (e.g., Henry Stickmin)
  • Offers a usable option when compared to some alternatives (e.g., Ruffle on Raspberry Pi)
Cons
  • Inconsistent game compatibility; many games do not work or load properly (e.g., SSF2)
  • Input and controls issues hinder gameplay (keyboard limitations, number pad not functioning, on-screen controls interference)
  • Lack of robust customization and external controller support (no import/export, no cloud sync, no easy layout editing or multi-key mappings)
  • Stability and bugs related to engine updates; some games crash or become unplayable
  • Multi-file game loading issues; separate files may not load together

Overall are fine but Keyboard can’t all buttons pressed at the same time and Controller already “softlock” in SM63 Updated 4/27/2026 same thing and nothing changed

Every game except for Super Smash Flash 2 Works. I played SM63 and Ultimate Sonic Flash but SSF2 didn’t work. Other than that the emulation quality for the games that did work are very nice. It’s a shame, this emulator was almost perfect.
