I bought this for the ability to save to an SD card without a subscription. I was randomly given a trial (I didn’t ask for it, I’ve not provided a payment option, unlike most free trials that require you to cancel or be charged) and noticed how much smoother events loaded that week during the trial. Before I was given a taste of the paid plan, less than a week into owning, I had to reset the camera because the live feed kept buffering, as did events, I believe that was after an update, which if you look occurs often. I am already, not a month later, having the same issue of feed & events not loading. I know it’s not sd card related because I’ve formatted several times with no issue & the problem does not occur after a format or when one is needed. If you’re looking for an option to use without a subscription then I would not suggest this one. Other than that the hardware mostly works fine. I have noticed it following motion & not returning to the set position, it’ll randomly be stuck staring off in the direction the motion stopped, long after whatever caused it is gone.

Picture quality is great when it works but for the most part the video never loads and the amount of ads is ridiculous.

Unless you subscribe for an absolute ridiculous amount, there Zero playback and rarely connection to a router 20' away for live view. Scam Scam Scamming trash. I'm returning mine post haste.
