User Reviews

User reviews for i-light pro are largely negative, with recurring reliability issues. The most common problems are unstable pairing and status syncing, color lighting and music features that are inconsistent or nonfunctional, and timers that reset or don’t save. Updates frequently introduce bugs or regressions. Remote control connectivity is problematic and the app appears limited to a single device. A few users report that lights work and color/music features can be functional when the app operates correctly, but overall reliability is poor.
Pros
  • Lights control works on some devices.
  • Color lighting and music features exist and can be functional for some users.
  • Some users find the app helpful and enjoyable when it works.
Cons
  • Unstable pairing and status syncing: you often have to unpair and re-pair the device, and the app frequently fails to reconnect or reflect the fan’s current state.
  • Color lighting and music features are inconsistent or nonfunctional: color options may be missing or only sometimes work, and music/beat effects can fail.
  • Timer/scheduling features reset or don’t save across sessions.
  • Updates regress functionality or break features that previously worked.
  • Remote/phone control connectivity issues and device limitation to a single fan: the phone remote often won’t connect and the app seems limited to controlling only one device.

Literally left to figure it out on your own. Clearly whoever created this took 10 seconds to put it together and never thought to add any info on how to use it. You’re supposed to be able to play music on through it, but guess what that’s a lie. Can’t use blue or red but some how can produce pink purple green and orange, this app is a joke at best. A gimmick to get people to purchase some trash that you can’t use

Definitely an app made in 34 seconds by the developer. Trying to connect to a fan that was off and is now on? Sorry you gotta unpair it and pair it again cause it won’t reconnect itself. Want to turn the fan the other direction? Nope it’s gonna flip flop switching directions every 2 seconds. Do you want the color red? No. Too bad. You get white. Purple will work just fine though. Connect the fan to Alexa? Nah, eat rocks. The fact that also anyone can just pair to my fan is just wonderful as well. No verification of any kind, just connect.

<<Update>> Got a new phone and the light doesn’t work with the either. The light fixture works well but the fan part of the app doesn’t. Thankfully, there’s a remote but what’s the point of the app if part of it doesn’t work.
