User Reviews

User reviews mainly flag login reliability issues and update loops as the top cons, with a subset noting improved loan info visibility and a simpler UI. The new app is praised by some for clearer dashboards, but is criticized for poor iPad/tablet support, feature removal, and various performance glitches.
Pros
  • Cleaner, simpler UI that emphasizes essentials and is easier to use than the old version.
  • Dashboard/loan view provides key information at a glance (amount paid, remaining payoff, and visible interest rate).
  • Some users view the refresh as an improvement and find the new layout easier to use.
Cons
  • Login failures across devices: users cannot sign in with username/password and are forced to use a 4-digit passcode; Face ID often fails.
  • Persistent update loop: the app frequently asks to update or shows a no-update-available loop, blocking access.
  • Poor tablet support and UI scaling: the iPad experience is not optimized (phone-sized UI on larger screens).
  • Loss of features and degraded functionality: removal of mobile check deposit and other tools; fewer options like CD maturity controls or clear transaction details.
  • Performance/UX glitches: loading screens, permissions prompts, delays, and occasional crashes when signing in or navigating.

Not sure what is going on but in the past three weeks online access across web and mobile has been down for hours at a time — no messaging online and zero update or follow-up. In this day and age to not have 99.99% uptime on a critical financial app is unacceptable. At least handle your issues with users with an informational message on your landing page! From a features and functionality standpoint it’s ok. I can see how the dark mode and look and feel may not be everyone’s preference but compared to the inconvenience of no access at all for hours at a time and no way to get in touch with anyone after hours seems pretty secondary. Do better.

Old app was full screen on Ipad. New one is a little tiny screen no matter the orientation. At least make it full screen for ipad users. Zoom in is blurry. I just want to be able to use my password, not a required 4 digit passcode. I don’t use the face ID. A 4 digit code is less secure. Cant use the apple passwords app with new app? Why change a good thing? Bring back old app functionality.
