User Reviews

BodyState provides accurate body battery and vitals tracking with strong Apple Health and watch integration, and a clean interface. However, persistent pricing concerns, an open-screen/Continue bug, and post-sale monetization worries temper the experience, with some reliability issues around sleep data. Overall, it’s a capable health dashboard if you’re comfortable with ongoing subscription costs and occasional bugs.
Pros
  • Accurate, comprehensive body battery score that accounts for more metrics than Apple’s Sleep Score.
  • Strong Apple Health integration, letting Health data feed into daily body state insights.
  • Clean, intuitive interface with clear, easy-to-understand visuals for vitals and body battery.
  • Excellent Apple Watch integration (brings watch data to life in a way users feel is missing on watch).
  • Good organization of sleep and vitals data, with dashboards that make trends easy to see.
Cons
  • Pricing and free-vs-paid confusion; ongoing subscription costs and reports of false advertising about being free.
  • Persistent open/Continue screen bug (white screen) that requires extra taps and slows access to data.
  • Negative sentiment about acquisition/ownership change, with perceived shift toward monetization and fewer features.
  • Sleep tracking reliability issues (sleep score sometimes not captured or inconsistent when wearing multiple watches).

Been using the app for a few days and I think it’s great. But I’ve noticed when I enter caffeine in the journal it consistently adds two entries within a couple minutes when I only enter one

I use this app to gauge how ready I am to train for the day. Really helps quantify how I’m feeling. All of the metrics in the app are helpful and clear. UX/UI is top notch. Very grateful this exists.
