Users praise scheduling and the program's value, but the new KidStrong app is plagued by major feature losses and reliability issues: missed progress/rank/photo features, login and membership problems, and performance glitches. While the UI is nicer and scheduling can be done in-app, many reviewers want the old features restored and improved stability.

Pros

Scheduling/class bookings in-app are easy and convenient.
The app’s UI/appearance looks nicer than the previous version.
The KidStrong program provides value and helps kids grow.
You can manage and book classes from a single app (simplified workflow).

Cons

Loss of progress tracking, ranks, class history, and photos in the new app.
Login/logout instability and the need to delete/reinstall the app to sign in.
Membership recognition issues that prevent scheduling and check-ins.
General performance problems: clunky interface, freezes, and credits not saving when classes are canceled.

Recent reviews

There’s many things wrong with this app, but I’ll focus on the UX. When you want to cancel a class booking you click on the class, click cancel, it has an additional screen that has an X to exit that screen or a button that says ‘return to timetable’. Both the X and the button take you back to the start - not the bookings where you just were. Which means if you have multiple cancelations you have to go in and out repeatedly. There needs to be a way to select multiple bookings in the same screen to cancel. It would save time and code. Additionally, having the kids accounts separate from the parents, and not having up to date membership information in the app is incredibly annoying. Like why isn’t my membership document in the app? And you can’t cancel your membership from the app, you have to send them a message, then they send you a link to a member portal to cancel. Love KidStrong in general, but make the parents experience easier.

Sadly the KidStrong program is amazing but the app can’t align! Anytime I need to make a change or login, I have to fully delete and redownload the app. Notifications only work part time and toggling profiles also requires delete and redownload completely
