Let’s hope the designers of this app and TCL can keep ahead of all the demands, regulations, and contracts associated with letting us have free and private access to such a wide variety of programming. I honestly don’t think it will last. Some greedy corporate entities and cable companies hate apps like this that enable the “cord cutters”, or that distract from network over the air TV. This app works incredibly well on my iPhone. Every channel looks really good, not like broadcasters who lower bandwidth to add sub-channels. It has a really nice balance of picture quality and sound that’s really noticeable for on the go entertainment or news. The audio amplitude levels are matched so one channel isn’t louder than another. That’s a sign, that the engineers who put the system together know more than my local broadcast engineers. This app is the kind of thing I longed for in the 90’s as long-haul trucker. Now I that I have it, I hope it doesn’t change.
