Features & Capabilities

Inspired by Benjamin Franklin. Refined over 18 years in a spreadsheet. Finally an app - where every day is a fresh start with a real shot at 100%.

Most habit trackers punish you for the days you miss. Ever Better does the opposite. Every day is a clean slate with a real shot at 100%, so you're always moving forward.

Track the actions that improve your life across Mind, Body, and Spirit, and get credit for the effort you actually put in.

It didn't start as an app. Nearly two decades ago, one of our founders read Benjamin Franklin's "Plan for Moral Perfection" and began scoring daily actions in a spreadsheet. Eighteen years and countless revisions later, after no habit app got it right, that system became Ever Better.

HOW IT WORKS

FORWARD-LOOKING SCORING

Yesterday is done. Every morning is resets to a fresh 100% opportunity, so one bad day never drags you down, and you never need to wait for a new week, month, or year to begin again.

PROPORTIONAL CREDIT

Did more or less than your goal? You get exactly the credit you earned. Some is better than none. Partial progress always counts.

FLEXIBLE GOALS

Track a simple "done," or track by the numbers. Daily, every few days, or a set number of times per period, in your own units. Need a break? Pause anytime without breaking your stride.

MIND, BODY & SPIRIT

Every action rolls up into three areas of your life, so you can see at a glance whether you're growing in balance or letting one slide.

DAILY 100% TARGET

Forget perfection forever. Just aim for 100% today.

REVIEW & GET INSPIRED

Clear charts, history, and streaks show how far you've come and where to improve. Progress you can actually see.

Plus dark mode, and sign in with Apple, Google, Facebook, or email.

WHY WE BUILT IT

We spent 18 years trying every habit app and always returning to a clunky spreadsheet, because none matched how real change actually works. Ever Better was built to finally replace that spreadsheet, and like the habits it tracks, it keeps getting ever better.

We hope you find it as helpful as we have.

User Reviews

It’s easy to keep track of different time periods for when I need to get things done. I love this app!

The app takes a whole new approach for tracking productivity and self improvement. I like the GUI and the ability to define what I myself consider to be a productive activity. It’s a must have for anyone with a busy schedule, especially executive personnel.
