Mix doesn’t appear to be collatible with iPhone 17, which will not register the Rx when plugged in. Will be returning to Amazon, 10x10 do not recommend.

I am using a BOYA Mini 2 with an iPhone 16 Pro Max. The microphone works perfectly in the native Camera app, and videos record with clear audio. However, when I start a Facebook Live session, the app fails to route audio from the BOYA microphone and instead uses the phone’s internal microphone. I have already tried reconnecting the receiver, restarting the phone, reopening Facebook, and changing recording modes, but the issue remains. Since the microphone works correctly in other apps, this appears to be a compatibility or audio-routing issue. Please improve compatibility with Facebook Live and provide clearer troubleshooting guidance for iPhone users. The microphone hardware is excellent, but this software issue significantly affects the user experience.

I tried connecting the magic mike USB-c to my iPhone to do the firmware upgrade using a usb-c to iPhone adapter cable. The BOYA app never saw the BOYA receiver so I could never update the firmware. I tried several different usb-c to iPhone cables and it never worked.
