User Reviews

Users largely praise Aiper for strong device performance and a generally usable, unified app. However, the experience is repeatedly hindered by persistent ads, unreliable sign-in and multi-user login frictions, setup/privacy concerns, missing scheduling/advanced controls, and underwater connectivity issues. The app works with multiple devices and offers useful alerts, but these recurring problems reduce reliability for frequent users who expect seamless control and scheduling.
Pros
  • Strong cleaning performance and reliability of pool/lawn devices (pool cleaners, skimmer, irrigation units) as reported by multiple users.
  • Unified, user-friendly app that is easy to navigate and controls multiple devices from one place (one ecosystem for lawn and pool).
  • Positive long-term reliability and satisfaction from several users (examples include years of use with few issues).
  • Useful device status alerts/notifications (e.g., skimmer stuck) that help users monitor performance.
Cons
  • In-app advertisements and frequent upsell prompts disrupt the user experience.
  • Frequent login/logout instability; users can’t stay signed in and multi-user sessions trigger security messages.
  • Setup friction and privacy concerns around location data and network scanning; devices getting bound to the wrong account requiring resets.
  • Lack of scheduling/advanced control features (no run-time scheduling, hard-to-edit maps, no easy way to add new watering points).
  • Connectivity issues, including WiFi/Bluetooth disconnects underwater and unreliable remote control while submerged.

I have use Aiper for years. I had an issue with my charger and the technology and ease of dealing with their customer service was reassuring. It was nice to feel that the people cared and the company stands behind their products!

Easy to use. Great functionality. Makes watering my shrubs a breeze. There are however a couple of issues. If this is somehow my mistake I would absolutely change to 5 stars: 1) once you have created a “region”, there is no way to edit the points. To change you must create an entire new one. 2) there doesn’t appear to be a way to run each region manually. You can only schedule a time for it to run
