Recent reviews

It took me half an hour to just get the app to recognize the hub. It appeared to be solely due to poorly thought out user experience. Then there was it not recognizing my existing rainpoint account so I had to create a new one. Then even though I followed the instructions accurately it gave an error message when I installed the hardware as it was too impatient about me turning on the water- the error was something about valve malfunction. Finally, I checked the privacy of the new app I had to install (previously I was on rainpoint ty) and it seems like this app is vacuuming up everything about me. I understand why people Are rating this so low. I will wait a little bit and see if the app stays working and if the privacy issues are addressed. If not, I will uninstall and find a different developer.

I recently ordered the smart soil meter kit with hub from Amazon. I thought it was easy to set up. The instructions were clear and I did not experience any issues with the app so far it’s been great and very helpful for someone who has had trouble with overwatering.
