2025-11-24	ha*****	On the charts, I can change what lines are shown, and anything I do will reset it: changing the timeframe, coming back an hour later, etc. I really wish it’d just remember I want humidity and not outdoor temp. Also the UI overall is just a bit janky all over, like the iOS app is a basic port of an android app. Date picker is especially awful.

2025-09-02	Mr*****	I replaced a Venstar ColorTouch stat that was 7 years old and starting to lose contact with the web. Its most useful attribute was that it tracked my system usage daily. This is about the only thing the Ecobee doesn’t do. I thought that Beestat would have that information and I think it does but I haven’t found it yet. It does have some very good analytics, which I’m also learning about. I had found pretty good correlation between daily average temperature and system run time. But Beestat has a “minute run/degree day that might allow me to back into run time. I’m going to keep messing with Beestat for now.

2025-03-10	Mi*****	I was thrilled to learn that I could keep my Ecobee thermostat with recent upgrade of home HVAC to heat pump, but then was confused about best Ecobee settings for new system. Enter BEESTAT to the rescue: I finally had the data & feedback needed to properly set the Aux Heat settings in Ecobee and insure that backup Aux Heat strips only kick in when desired. Perfect software companion to Ecobee. 👍🏽👍🏽
