User Reviews

Reviews praise easy setup, smooth performance, and a handy replacement remote with quick device discovery, but criticize subscription pricing, incomplete functionality on some brands, billing issues, and navigation problems.
Pros
  • Easy setup and smooth, lag-free operation
  • A handy replacement for a lost remote, enabling quick access to TV controls
  • Quick device discovery and broad compatibility with multiple TV brands (examples include Samsung)
  • Reliable core remote functions for common tasks (changing channels and volume)
Cons
  • Subscription pricing is high and core features require a weekly subscription; not free
  • Inconsistent or missing essential functions (power on/off, mute) and some brands not supported (e.g., Vizio)
  • Billing problems: charges during free trial and lack of receipts/unclear charges
  • Navigation/control issues or poor UI making it hard to go back/home or perform basic navigation

I would not have downloaded if I had known the cost, so I’m sharing to help others. As the title says, without being dramatic, I’m frankly floored at the audacity (and also befuddled how they’re making any money, bc why..???). Yes, it’s a nice remote, smooth coding, but there are endless virtual options offering exactly the same thing, most for free (or with free base versions). If you really want the VIP, premium remote control experience, a one-time payment of $1.99, $5.99–heck, even $10.99, for the truly extravagant among us—will unlock lifetime access to nearly every pay-to-play option out there. Even a $0.99 or 1.99 recurring charge wouldn’t be wildly unhinged, but $7.99 a WEEK?? What planet are these developers on? Or do they only know billionaires and nepo babies? I have so many questions, and none of them are about remote controls.
