2026-08-19	Bl*****	The software for mapping the house is so stupid! The robot is always confused on where to go, etc. The map should be editable by the user not only the robot. Otherwise the robot creates random rooms. There can be an initial stage of mapping the rooms to create a floor map(s). The affordable cost of the robot is not worth the time and energy spent on fixing mapping issues and it not working correctly. I should’ve just bought something better, regardless of the price.

2026-05-29	jj*****	Me and countless others have experienced the same ”bricking” of our otherwise fantastic vacuums. I was curious why the price was so low compared to the others and now I know it’s bc the software was not fully fleshed out. I purchased the EV3420 for 100$ at Walmart for reference. And fast forward about 6 months the app got disconnected from my net bc I changed the name(ssid) but then upon “starting network config” an infinite loop occurs when I try to select the 2.4ghz network. Goes like this Add Device > Select EV3420 > Follow Instruction per app stated > Start Config \|> Select 2.4ghz network > Settings of App > turn everything on and available > go back to app > select network > Settings of App\| and so on and so forth. Please fix this. Auto clean is my only option rn and it never is smart enough to find the home base without the cloud map.

It’s amazing anti-drop sensors don’t let it fall down the stairs and the smart navigation where it goes in straight lines makes it even better. I’ve had other vacuums like the ion VAC, the iHome and those don’t work as good as the daredevil affordable has great suction and filtration system. Best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever had.
