User Reviews

Users repeatedly report the Owlet Care+ app and devices suffer from connectivity and performance issues, slow loading, limited multi-child support, camera integration problems, and alarm reliability concerns. A few reviews acknowledge the value of home monitoring for medically fragile babies and note customizable alarm thresholds, but these positives are outweighed by glitches that impact real-time monitoring, especially for families with multiple children or high medical needs.
Pros
  • Customizable alarm thresholds for oxygen and heart rate.
  • Valued as an at-home monitoring option for medically fragile babies.
Cons
  • Frequent connectivity issues between the sock, base station, and camera (devices often fail to connect or stay connected).
  • App is slow and unresponsive with long load times and occasional crashes.
  • Limited multi-child support (only one child per account; difficult to monitor twins/triplets).
  • Camera connectivity problems and the need to use separate apps for the camera and sock.
  • Alarm reliability concerns (delays, false alarms, and unclear indications).

We have a new iPhone and the app just shows an error when trying to connect “This device is not compatible with the application”.

For 300 dollars you wouldn’t think your email would be impossible to receive or impossible to work when you finally find it in your junk file cause apparently my premi child’s health belongs in that section of my email. But the damn email won’t work either. Like 300 dollars dude this needs to be easier have yall lost your mind? Fix your app.

Owlet is a scam, they’ll yank support of your device just to make you buy a new device.
