User Reviews

Users generally value the CastleFlexx experience: the hardware-integrated workouts and an affordable subscription with a variety of flows. A recent app update improves cross-device use by enabling mirroring/streaming to Apple TV and iPads. However, across reviews the app often performs slowly, requires repeated logins, and disrupts workouts when videos are split into multiple parts. Streaming to TVs remains unreliable for some. The interface can be non-intuitive, help and refunds are hard to reach. Overall, the app shows promise but has persistent UX issues.
Pros
  • Updated app now supports mirroring/streaming to Apple TV and iPad, improving cross-device usability.
  • Affordable subscription with access to a variety of workouts and flows, offering good value.
  • The app complements CastleFlexx hardware and provides convenient exercise options for daily routines.
Cons
  • The app is slow and unresponsive with frequent sign-in requirements.
  • Videos are split into multiple parts, causing abrupt ends and breaking workout flow.
  • Streaming/casting to TVs and other devices is unreliable or not straightforward.
  • The app has poor navigation and a non-intuitive interface, including a confusing structure and broken help/refund processes.
  • Customer support/refund experience is disappointing.

The app isn’t really made for streaming on devices like Apple TV or an iPad which makes it really challenging to use and watch the videos while using the Castle Flexx.  The very first two videos for beginners is literally split in half and just start/stop abruptly.  It should just be one video.  I’ve spent more time trying to get logged in and play a video to the point where it’s not even worth the money!!  I paid for a year subscription and it’s awful.  I’m immediately turned off by the whole thing.  Absolutely terrible!! Stay far, far away from this company! Don’t buy any of their products. Their customer service is also the worst!!! After I gave CastleFit a 1 star review they offered me a 40% refund if I would change my review!
