User Reviews

Overall, players find Spite and Malice Card Game engaging and easy to pick up, with a relaxing feel, quick rounds, and a nostalgic online option. The main drawbacks across reviews are annoyances with ads (notably startup ads) and a lack of clarity around scoring, stars, and badge progression. A few note changes like removal of certain card options, and some pushy prompts, but the core gameplay remains solid and training-friendly.
Pros
  • Relaxing and enjoyable to play.
  • Fast-paced and easy to learn.
  • Solid game with good training value.
  • Free play with relatively short ads.
  • Online version feels nostalgic and accessible.
Cons
  • Ads can be intrusive, especially at startup and in general.
  • Scoring mechanics and badge progression are unclear (blue stars, rank criteria, level-up goals).

Good game and very relaxing, but I’m not sure how to move up in badge status. I move up in levels, but not badge. I’ve been playing everyday and I’m on level 28 and still considered a “rookie” in the “badges” and win most of the time. Also, there used to be an option in settings to have 20 cards in the pile, but that’s gone now. The only options are toggle between 5 or 10 instead of 10 or 20.

The game’s all right I’ve been playing this game since I was young but I sure would like to know about the scoring technique. What are these blue stars for? I mean I’ve got like 40,000 points stacked up here so I’m just wondering.

Solid game, ads aren’t too bad, wish level up goals were given to know what level earned certain rank.
