Pros
- Deep, strategy-heavy roguelike with near-infinite combinations of heroes, items, and enemies, balancing skill and luck.
- One-time purchase with no microtransactions or ads, offering great value.
- Active modding community and ongoing content updates that extend longevity.
- Mobile-friendly, touch-optimized design that’s easy to learn and usable in portrait or landscape.
- Polished, touch-friendly mobile design that supports quick matches or longer sessions and feels native to iOS.
Cons
- Persistent audio glitches and distortion that can ruin listening to music or podcasts while playing.
- Purchase restore and account-transfer issues; difficulty restoring purchases or moving progress.
- RNG/balance frustrations: dice luck can feel unfair and some characters are underpowered.
- Requests for more content/endgame progression; players want more classes, levels, and updates.
- Localization gaps; requests for Chinese language support.

I’ve played this game for dozens of hours and think it’s one of the best mobile games out there. If you like board games or D&D-like RPGs, you’ll enjoy this game. I’m usually a PC gamer but always fine myself coming back to this game when I have downtime. With great save mechanics (can pause whenever), low storage size, and a one-time purchase (no micro transactions), it’s also a great experience. It takes a bit to learn but has great replayability with a near infinite amount of combinations of heroes, items, and enemies. I think it has a great balance of skill and luck for a rouge-like so taking risks is worth it but when you do lose it’s not too miserable.

Great concept. Approachable mechanics with a great level of depth and customizability. Horribly addictive.
I never really pay for any phone games etc, but this warranted buying the full game. (Free version is still great tho.)
Hope it keeps getting content updates. Shout out to the dev(s). Great idea, and great execution.
