User Reviews

Users generally like Element Ballistics and find it useful, especially for beginners, with solid Element hardware integration and active development. However, recurring issues include an incomplete pellet/slug database, missing altitude/pressure features, limited profile slots with loading/zero-distance problems, and inconsistent reticle availability, which impact usability across configurations.
Pros
  • Generally liked and found useful, especially for newcomers to air guns.
  • Good integration with Element hardware (rangefinder and scope) and overall compatibility with Element gear.
  • Ongoing development and updates are happening, with reviewers noting improvements.
  • Seen as a solid replacement option after Stelok became unavailable.
Cons
  • Pellet/slug database remains incomplete: cannot easily add new projectiles and selections are limited; needs more weights and calibers.
  • Altitude/pressure support missing or unreliable: no altitude adjustment; barometer often unavailable; limited weather sources.
  • Profile management is weak: only four profiles supported and loading/zero-distance issues across profiles.
  • Reticle options are incomplete or inconsistently available: some reticles missing or not easily accessible.

Hello Element support I would like to report what appears to be a bug in the iOS version of Element ballistic When viewing the reticle, the zoom/magnification display does not work correctly on my iPhone. My reticle has a total application only displays up to 8 MRAD, even when I try to adjust the view. As a result, the full reticle is not visible. The same reticle and settings work correctly in the Android version of the app, where the entire reticle can be displaye seems to be specific to the iOS version. In my case, the reticle view shows "Ranging: 6X" and "Current: 24X", but the display remains limited and does not show the complete reticle. Could you please investigate this issue and let me know if there is a setting I am missing or if this is a known bug in the iOS version?

I love this app. I really like how customizable it is. Pairs great with the rangefinder. However, it has a few bugs. Lots of issues with profiles. BC profiles and caliber don't want to update. Keep changing back no matter what I choose.
