Most reviewers condemn Dome Guardian as an over-advertised, broken clone of Dome Keeper. The core idea—burrowing to mine resources while defending a dome—has potential, and some praise the first chapter or the concept. However, the game is plagued by relentless ads, questionable IAP handling to remove ads, and serious gameplay bugs: waves ending early, inaccessible second chapter, unclear goals, and weak balance. The consensus is that unless fixed, it is not worth the price.

Dome keeper is so much better and the tutorial was hard. (for me at least.) it just a complete copy of a good game. Btw dome keeper is free with gamepass on Xbox.

I liked the game enough to buy the no ads option but will sadly be requesting a refund. The game is broken. While you’re in the middle of fighting monsters, it says wave is complete and the timer for the next wave starts while you’re still fighting monsters leaving you no time to go and mine. The game could have been fun but that flaw makes the game unplayable.
