User Reviews

Users praise Lolo for fast, chat/voice logging and auto macro tracking, plus AR/barcode scanning. However, frequent criticisms focus on a paywall that blocks use, inability to log past days or access history, Apple-only sign-in, limited nutrition data, and onboarding/navigation issues.
Pros
  • Chat/voice-based logging makes input quick and easy, reducing taps and decision fatigue.
  • Auto-populated nutrition data with macros, and ability to adjust entries.
  • AR scanning and barcode capabilities help populate data from labels quickly.
  • Overall ease of use and a conversational UI that feels like texting a friend.
  • Efficient, quick daily tracking compared with traditional food trackers.
Cons
  • Paywall/subscription gating blocks core usage and is perceived as expensive.
  • Cannot log or edit meals for previous days and lacks long-term history or stats.
  • Sign-in via Apple ID only or forced Apple sign-in.
  • Nutrition data is limited to calories, protein, fat, and carbs, with little micronutrient detail and occasional AI corrections needed.
  • Discoverability and onboarding can be confusing or hard to navigate.

It’s worked well for some time but seems down right now.
