Recent reviews

For Surah Fajr verse 14, Dr Khattab translates it as “For your Lord is truly vigilant.” The word vigilant cannot be used for Allah. According to Oxford the meaning is “Keeping a careful watch for dangers and difficulties”. Merriam Webster states “alertly watchful to avoid danger”. Allah is not in a need to avoid dangers, far exalted is He to be described as such. Arberry, Pickthall, Abdul Haleem all use the word “Watchful’ for this verse. Dr Khattab should utilize the services of native English speakers who have the mastery of the English language to review the translation so these mistakes can be corrected in the next edition.

Assalamuwalaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu I see that one of the reference images for the app has the custom wallpaper option. I would like to know how can we access that? I don’t find anything in the interface for it.

The app was working great but starting today I cannot play an ayah or a surah on demand. It’s glitching and needs to be fixed esp for the paid subscribers.
