User Reviews

Users praise the app for strong workouts and clear videos, but repeatedly report bugs (streak loss, step sync issues, weight/input display errors) and limited free content due to premium pricing. Health app/Apple Health integration problems and data syncing are a common pain point. Most mention frustration with paying for features and occasional unauthorized charges. Overall, the workouts are compelling and motivating, but stability and pricing concerns undermine the experience.
Pros
  • High-quality workouts and programs with clear, professional videos.
  • Direct, easy-to-follow training approach that helps with consistency and motivation.
  • Clean, user-friendly interface with intuitive navigation and generally low pressure to pay upfront.
  • Effective for staying active and improving fitness, as reflected in positive feedback about results and engagement.
Cons
  • Frequent bugs and stability issues (lost streaks, incorrect step counting, weight/input display errors, display glitches with alternatives, force logouts, workouts failing to load).
  • Premium pricing and feature gating (many features require a paid plan; frustration over cost, perceived value, and occasional unauthorized charges).
  • Apple Health/step tracking problems (unreliable step counts, trouble syncing or linking with Health, data inconsistencies).
  • Limited free content and equipment options (desire for more free workouts and better at-home/equipment-friendly options).

Really great for tracking workouts, a bit buggy and will sometimes log me out randomly or swap between Lbs and KGs, but hopefully developers will clean that up

Great

The app itself is a mess. Losing streaks despite logging every day, steps not being counted correctly despite linking to health app, entered weight changing (I.e. put in 15 lbs for laterals, get 6.8 displayed next time despite not changing from lbs to kg and still reading in lbs), changing exercises for alternatives causes errors in display for supersets, previous weights not being recorded next time I do an exercise, force logged-out mid workout, etc etc. I love what Browney is doing and their programs are great, however the app needs some serious changes. Not sure if it’s just an Apple thing, or if this is universal. Hope to see the app improve to properly match the great workouts and programs.
