Overall, the app is capable and enhances Glowrium hardware with plant database features, light sensing, per-channel color control, scenes, and sunrise/sunset scheduling. Yet reliability is a major issue: timers fail, lights turn on/off randomly, and connections frequently drop. Firmware/update problems lock features and hinder control, with inconsistent temperature readings. The UX suffers from translation problems and non-intuitive navigation, and support is inconsistent. When it works, the app adds real value, but ongoing stability and support problems hinder consistent use.

Pros

Easy to set up and connect quickly.
Rich feature set: plant database, light level measurements, per-channel color control, and customizable scenes.
Effective scheduling and automation: sunrise/sunset timing and multiple on/off points.
Multi-light control with straightforward app usage.
Temperature monitoring is a useful extra feature.

Cons

Unreliable timers and random on/off behavior; often requires manual intervention.
Frequent connectivity and firmware/update issues that can lock features or prevent control.
Poor app UX and localization: unintuitive design, translation problems, and hard-to-use temperature alerts (slider jumps, no typing).
Support is slow or hard to reach with little or no effective assistance.
Some advertised capabilities don’t work (e.g., some zones or data accuracy) and updates can cause features to disappear.

Recent reviews

I have two of the 48w lights and as long as you keep your phone and your app updated, they are awesome. I have mine set to the sunrise and sunset in my region and I love it.
