Review summary

Users praise Homeaglow for flexible scheduling and easy access to jobs, with earning potential and client-network growth. However, reviews frequently cite app glitches, poor support, and unfavorable fees/cashouts. Last-minute cancellations and limited protection for cleaners, plus safety/screening concerns, are common negatives. Overall, it can be a useful money-maker for some, but reliability, support, and fairness are significant, recurring drawbacks.
Pros
  • Flexible scheduling and easy to claim jobs.
  • Potential to earn money and build a client network for your cleaning business.
  • Leads and client appreciation can make the work feel rewarding and scalable.
  • Easy-to-use platform for managing bookings and work lifecycle.
Cons
  • Frequent app glitches and reliability issues that disrupt use.
  • Poor customer support and lack of phone support, with slow responses and account deactivations.
  • High fees and unfavourable payout terms (membership fees, client fees, cash-out costs).
  • Last-minute client cancellations with little to no reimbursement, causing financial impact.
  • Safety concerns and lack of robust client screening, including reports of racism or unsafe work environments.

2026-08-07 Ga***** I think the way this operates is it prioritizes people who do not want to grow. From a business perspective this makes sense. If you’re a hustler chances are the algo will see you as a threat. And like any perceived threat you will be taken out. Therefore I think there can be a bridge where a long term relationship can exist however I’m still thinking about what that could look like as everyone does not have integrity. Nevertheless, I believe a lot of the people having a hard time may be experiencing it because of the way the algo is set up. I think this company is fairly new however they are steady and growing, I think there is a possibility for this to change over time. Unfortunately I was not valued or respected and had to walk away. I hope they are able to change and make accommodations to sustain their best within their ecosystem

2026-08-04 sa***** Oh lord where do I start… I wish I could submit screenshots but I’ll just copy and paste my email response back to support. Of course, obviously I know that background checks take time (and clearly this is an automated email message because that’s not at all the problem). You are saying “I’m not able to accept jobs” until the background check goes through —except that’s the problem: your app DID allow me to 1) see available jobs, 2) claim an available job, 3) sent me to a landing page saying “Congratulations on claiming [jobs] at [time & date] more details will be sent shortly” (see attached screenshot) Your app should not allow people to accept requests if their profile is not approved yet. This was incredibly confusing and could’ve been easily avoided by designing the app in such a way that the dashboard is not usable if my account is not approved. I “claimed” a job, received notice that I claimed it, and then received no further updates or notice on it at all. Across the app, there are different mentions for estimated time it would take for the background check to be completed. On the my approved request page, it was saying “in 30 minutes.” In my professional experience, there’s never been a background check that’s taken only 30 minutes, and certainly not with a company whose customer support has a more than ideal response time. Regardless, I’m unsure of why this is the case if the other places in the app say around 5 days and you’re now telling me 2 weeks. Consistency in information given is key if you don’t want to lose customers and contracted workers. Additionally, I was given notice that if I didn’t submit pictures of cleaning supplies within 3 days my account would be deactivated. I was given that notice exactly ONCE in small font at the very bottom of the page, when setting up my account. And then once I left that page, I received no notice of this “to do” action. There was nowhere on my profile that notified me that I still had to complete this action, and nowhere where I could submit these photos to update my account (which would make the most amount of sense), it wasn't until I went to the contact support page that suddenly there was a random pop up to finally submit these photos to quality control. What? Why wouldn’t this just be a little notice on my “account” profile page where I could upload the photos? Who designed this app? Respectfully, this app seems “vibe-coded” with AI and it’s not functional or intuitive for human use in the slightest… I highly encourage you to contact your app developers and see if you can redesign a few functions of this app, as they are incredibly anti-ergonomic.

2026-08-01 Le***** The $19 advertise promotion was extremely misleading! After you sign up your locked in for a six month commitment at $70 a month. Both times I hired cleaners they showed up an hour late. They were scheduled to work four hours and only stayed two. I also feel like they were under the influence of something. One of them didn’t even have a vacuum cleaner or tools. I had to provide that for them and my home was left not even clean. There’s nobody in Customer Service to get in touch with. I will never be using this company again

2026-07-28 jj***** The app is the worst I have downloaded on my phone. I have a lot of apps. Whoever created this app needs to be fired. My password isnt working and when I go to change my password the link doesn’t work. Nothing works on this app. You have to go the website. Which makes the app useless
