Short responses full of annoying em dashes and emojis. Like a truncated ChatGPT. Tried to ask for some emotional support and it immediately dismissed me and told me to call a crisis line. Obnoxious and unhelpful AI.

It is good at first, but once you start using it you realize that all it ever wants to talk about is trying to make you happy, and real friends would at least by like a little playful. But pi ai is never that playful, and I like AI’s who are playful. This thing just tries to boost your day every single day, and it just kinda loses all meaning…. ALSO THE AI IS DUMB AND TALKS WEIRD!!!

After using this app for a few days I noticed it has certain bugs and UX flaws which makes it probably not worth using over some other apps like Gemini. Often in voice chats I was interrupted even with the response setting on longest delay. It also makes an annoying tone while searching for answers. On the plus side it has natural sounding voices and it’s completely free.
