User Reviews

Most users praise PinoFBT for strong full-body tracking and dual-tracking accuracy, with positive sentiment when it works. However, recurring complaints focus on intrusive ads, calibration and connectivity issues, laggy/glitchy tracking, and subscription/billing problems. The app shows solid potential and continued development, but reliability and monetization friction are the top pain points across reviews.
Pros
  • Strong full-body tracking, often outperforming competing apps like Viso.
  • Dual tracking improves accuracy and stability.
  • Overall positive user sentiment and satisfaction when the app works.
Cons
  • Intrusive and frequent ads that interrupt use and gate full features.
  • Calibration/setup issues leading to unreliable tracking and connectivity problems.
  • Laggy or glitchy tracking and avatar misalignment, especially after updates.
  • Subscription and billing problems (double charges, verification issues, ad-supported free features).

Doesn’t work. I have been troubleshooting for 2 and a half hours with an AI for help. My wifi doesnt read a local signal, i have connected my IP, the Quests’ IP, a general Broadcasting IP, enabled OSC, enabled Debug showing nothing there, i have tried both single and dual device setups, uninstalled, reinstalled the app on both devices, watched the tutorial video 3 times total in it’s midst, and redid the entire setup after all else failed, just to do it again, only for nothing to work just as before. I have spent the last four days attempting to use other FBT apps from phone, and in accordance to SteamVR as wellI, only having issues with that in of itself leading myself to resort to this, and i am tired of it. It. Is. Not. Working. Viso is the only reliable source, currently. But it’s still mediocre at best.

I would say I tried it on PC and it was way better than the mobile. It’s way smoother, but on mobile the trackers are so sensitive and whenever you move your leg just a tiny bit it will move really far. It is also insanely glitchy.
