User Reviews

Most reviews condemn the recent TDPT update as a downgrade. Repeated issues include degraded tracking (especially hips/legs), instability and glitches, and a confusing calibration flow. Users long for the old, smoother tracking and easier setup, with many urging a revert or option to revert. Some note better performance in VR when tracking worked, but overall sentiment is that the update worsened usability and motion accuracy.
Pros
  • Historically smooth and accurate tracking, especially before the update.
  • When it worked, the app was easy to use and enjoyable.
  • Solid VR compatibility/performance during functioning periods.
Cons
  • The update degrades tracking quality and reliability, with many users asking to revert to the old version (TDPT).
  • Hip and leg tracking are significantly worse or not tracked at all after the update, causing unstable movement.
  • The new in‑app calibration and setting changes are confusing and time‑consuming to use.
  • Bugs and glitches (jitter, twists, instability) make the app unreliable for real movement.
  • Changes to the skeleton/proportions reduce natural movement and accuracy, making motion feel stiff or misaligned.
