2025-12-27	Wi*****	I've been enjoying this game quite a bit and having a lot of fun but there is one issue I have with the game: Unlocking new captains. Each captain costs 10 gems, and 10 gems costs $13 US dollars. It's important to mention that you can get new captains without paying by playing matches and getting good scores, however, after the first 5 captain unlocks the progression for the next captain unlock slows down dramatically. Even when I get a fantastic score it still hardly counts for the progression. It's not that 5 captains is too few, but when you consider the total of 23 captains it does make me wish for more. I completely understand that this is a small indie dev team, perhaps even one person, who needs to make a living. I get that. However, I think it's fairly reasonable to say $13 is too much for a single captain, especially when there's ADs after every in-game day of battles (which is 2-3 battles). TLDR: Very fun, but expect low variety in captains (starting unit) unless you are willing to pay $13 for each (or less if you bulk buy). Still would recommend.

The level skip button is insultingly placed ONLY during battles and still requires tapping through selection processes that don’t even matter - if you don’t make the right choices, you fail. What’s the point of giving options if only one “correct” way matters? Trash game, do not recommend.

2025-03-26	li*****	its to be expected of an rng based game. would be better if it were turn based and u could aim or select ur targets. cannons are the most useless in this game. takes too long to sink ship and rng causes it to miss alot. if this was the only pirate game out there give it a shot, but its not. there are many other better pirate games and rng games to play. stick to those

2025-02-06	Bk*****	I love this game with a passion. It got hard for me in the Skull Leagues. Took me a few times to get out of Skull I, two days to get out of Skull II, and now I’m bouncing around Skull II and Skull III ugh! I haven’t seen anymore Puzzles though I guess I beat them.. I’m just glad it’s not a pay to win or anything and I’m playing in my first Captain’s Cup in 3 days! I’m excited. Pro tip: If it gets hard or you don’t understand the extra stuff like waves, winds, Kraken, etc. at the top of your screen there’s a dropdown menu that tells you what’s going to happen on the Voyages. Just build your Pirates accordingly. Only Con: The Hookshot Pirates and I’m pretty sure the Hunters do the grapple thing too. ITS SO ANNOYING LOL

The not pay to win is huge W but the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because for some reason my account is gone on my phone! I was about to log in and play and it started a new account. I play both on my phone and iPad and I was surprised that it shared my one account so I never thought this would happen! I’m hoping I can get home and still play on my iPad because I did spend $ to not get ads and support the devs. But if I can’t play on my phone anymore I might just put this down which is a huge downer. Has this happened to anyone, and can I get some help?

Maybe in the arena, you could upgrade your ship and keep the progression items to make a great team build. Idk, love the art style and gameplay, but I want to keep some units
