Recent reviews

Gorgeous interface, robust settings. I just cannot live without threaded conversation view; I cannot follow conversations properly without it. The other feature I missed from a different app I’ve used was a dedicated tab for private messages (a kind of inbox). I like being able to view those separately from other mentions. These two things are very important to me so I ended up going back to my old app, despite the fact it’s a bit glitchy with the timeline fetch right now.

The Achilles heel of this app is how the feed will refresh while in the middle of scrolling. More often than not I’ll be scrolling, reading a post or about to click on a post and the feed will auto refresh and jump to the beginning rendering the post I was interested in lost to the ether. It’s by far the most frustrating aspect of this app and it impacts the user experience in a very negative way. If this were fixed it would be a much better app.

What do they expect, for us to just keep paying for the subscription while not getting any substantial updates. They’ve made so much money off of this app now for not putting much work into it. If I had this level of output at my job, I would be fired. My boss wouldn’t just be like oh yeah that’s fine. Take another year to rest. I would be out and looking for a new job.
