Logic Remote is a companion app for Logic Pro and GarageBand on Mac that turns your iPad or iPhone into a wireless mixer, transport control, and flexible touch instrument. It lets you play Logic instruments, trigger drum pads and Live Loops, and perform with Remix FX, step sequencing, and Smart Controls, all from anywhere in the room.

Navigate projects, mix sessions, and control Logic from another room. Use Multi-Touch gestures to adjust levels, pans, solos, and mutes; browse the Sound Library; remotely trigger key commands; and monitor levels with the level meter. Some features are available only on iPad.

Recent reviews

When I open logic remote and try to connect with my logic Pro running version 12.2 on my MacBook, I get a message saying the iPad software needs to be updated because it’s not compatible with that version of logic Pro. The problem is, when I go to the App Store, I don’t get an option to download or update, just to open. In other words, “You already have the most current version”. So I’m just stuck. No matter what I try, I can’t break out of that loop. It loads briefly and shows me my tracks, but then gives me that message from hell. Thanks, Apple.

This version of Logic Remote does not work with Logic 12. Logic says that I need to update Logic Remote, but there is not an update yet. I use this a lot and really need this to work.
