User Reviews
Pros
- Extensive, searchable nutrition database with a very large list of foods and detailed nutritional data.
- Strong glycemic load and carbohydrate tracking, helpful for diabetics and GL-focused diets.
- Diet customization and recipe features, including planning for goals like lower cholesterol, higher omega-3, and the ability to create/evaluate recipes.
- Time-saving and convenient all-in-one tool for nutrition calculations; generally easy to use.
- Intuitive interface and easy navigation.
Cons
- Data accuracy issues due to generic ingredients and lack of brand-specific items, leading to incorrect values (examples include iodine data and certain foods).
- Inability to add your own foods or input unusual/brand-specific ingredients; noticeable gaps in the database.
- Incomplete coverage of common foods and brands, with some items missing or outdated.
- Desire for broader nutrient data and more brands/foods (e.g., potassium, sodium) as well as more comprehensive ingredient coverage.

I love this app! I needed to watch my iodine intake for my thyroid and this is the only app that I found that tracks iodine.
Wish we could add different drinks though : -)

I’ve been looking for “this” for a long time! I finally learned, after many decades of life, about the interaction between high levels of glycemic load (which is related to, but not identical with Glycemic Index) and stubbornness in burning fat. And because having a very low glycemic load creates other health problems, this tool is indispensable in staying in the appropriate GL range for me, to control my fat burning capabilities. Thank you!
