User Reviews

Xray Anatomy is a solid learning resource for radiology students, with strong quiz-based study and helpful anatomy content that aids board prep. However, its value is tempered by pricing/subscription frustration, the lack of real imaging or personal X-ray capabilities, and gaps in content breadth (more projections and radiographs are requested). These recurring concerns lead to mixed opinions despite its educational merit.
Pros
  • Effective learning tool for anatomy and radiology; supports board-style prep.
  • Quiz feature is robust and helps practice bone/joint recognition.
  • Anatomy descriptions and educational content accompany the images.
  • Reasonable value for students.
Cons
  • Pricing and subscription issues (price increases, renewals, limited support).
  • No real X-ray functionality; shows only existing radiographs and cannot diagnose or image the user's own body.
  • Content breadth gaps; requests for more radiographs and essential projections.

This app has been extremely helpful as a first and second semester rad student . There are a few things that I believe would make this app truly amazing and even more helpful. Firstly the quizzes that are created are kind of hard to see the body part that is asked to be identified. I currently have the app on my iPad and also my phone and run into this issue on both devices. Another issue with the quizzes is that they make the choices to easy to identify sometimes making it not much of a challenge. Something else that I believe would be a great add to this app would be Radiograph position evaluations showing possible errors in images examples being over/under rotated parts, tilted parts, correct angulation, proper positioning etc. Being in diagnostic X-ray we do have to identify positioning errors in images in order to repeat image and ensure correct anatomy is in view. It would also help greatly if there are quizzes on correct positioning criteria yes I know different imaging books may have different guidelines to getting the image needed but they are all usually in the same ball park. I also believe this app would benefit if there was an anatomy section just for labeling not just whats in radiographs but bony landmarks and bones seen in regular pictures. Those are just a few helpful tips I believe can help future tech students and myself if updated before my graduation. Thanks for listening and i hope this helps.

So I paid for a yearly subscription back in September of this year. My subscription doesn’t get renewed till September of 2027. But I’m guessing they raised their prices and it has logged me out and it would let me see images unless I pay for another subscription. Then there no way to contact anyone about it. Really shady of them

Honestly, this app is really powerful for radiology technology students/Texhs. Unfortunately, too expensive thank you though.
