User Reviews

Overall, users praise iRad Xrays as a helpful, portable study tool for radiography positioning, anatomy, and technique ranges, useful for exam prep and quick review. Yet content gaps and reliability issues are common: many projections are missing or labeled coming soon, images fail to load or display blank rooms, and paywalls limit access. Some reviews also note accuracy problems with positioning. A subset remains satisfied, but the app needs content completion and stability improvements to meet expectations.
Pros
  • Helpful study tool for radiography exams and positioning
  • Portable reference on a smartphone, eliminating the need to carry heavy books
  • Useful for anatomy identification and quick visual reference of views
  • Provides technique ranges and exam guidance for study and review
  • Daily bite-sized facts and exam coverage add value
Cons
  • Content gaps: many projections are missing or labeled as coming soon
  • Reliability and loading issues: images often fail to load or display blank screens; some users report crashes
  • Paywall/price concerns: free version is limited and some content is behind a paywall or subscription
  • Missing trauma/fluoroscopy views and some exams (e.g., pelvis inlet/outlet)
  • Accuracy and quality issues (CR positioning and collimation inaccuracies)

If I'm zooming in to see what the projection would look like from above, the tube gets in the way. The one I'm hoping to review is L-spine. Also adding the standing versions would be helpful because in practice, we don't do all spine projections on the table.

Hi my name is Yvely I find this app extremely useful but some of the positions are not shown such as some erect spine positions at the Bucky like the fuchs. Could this please be updated ? I would like to see qualified views in supine and erect as it is extremely important for a student to have a well rounded understanding of each procedure. Thank you
